So there's this new resto at Metrowalk dubbed "Wing Hub". With the number of chicken establishments growing once again, we decided to give it a try. Apparently, it just opened the previous Monday, so it was their first weekend.
Of course we ordered their customary wings. We got Garlic Parmesan and Taiwanese. We also ordered the Black Box Trio Burger, which was actually an order of 3 Sliders composed of Chicken, Beef, and Lamb.
The wings, to me, were too bready for my liking. Instead of looking forward to eating the skin, I actually peeled it off before eating the wing. In fairness to the wings, they were really flavorful, with the Garlic Parmesan really tasting garlicky, and the Taiwanese tasting sweet and nutty. And even with the amount of breading they put in, I can still taste the flavors in the meat itself.
The sliders were really good, and I guess it was a good idea to keep the burgers in slider form since too much of one flavor might not be so good.
We weren't able to try their desserts since we were full from the wings and sliders.
If one likes their chicken really breaded, then I guess Wing Hub would work for them. As for me, I'll stick with their sliders, and I'll definitely try their desserts next time.
